Deco has told the press that he thinks Cristiano Ronaldo will be the best player in the world in a few years time.

Barcelona midfielder Deco plays in the Portugal team with Ronaldo and thinks the winger has every chance of being the best player in the world.

Cristiano Ronaldo was runner up to Kaka in the European Football of the Year ceremony and third to Kaka in the World Player presentations, which Kaka also won.

Deco feels that Kaka was given more attention by the press than Ronaldo was and this was a main advantage for Kaka winning the two awards. Deco thinks that should Ronaldo have being given the same amount of attention by the press he’d have piped Kaka to the award.

Deco said that he thinks Ronaldo will eventually win the award and that Kaka only got it because the media gave him more attention that they did to Ronaldo.

However, Deco didn’t think that Kaka wasn’t a worthy winner of the award; he just thinks that Kaka beat Ronaldo to it due to the fact that the media gave Kaka more publicity.

Brazilian goalkeeper Dida was at fault in the big Serie A derby match as AC Milan took on Inter Milan today.

AC Milan goalkeeper Dida made a mistake that cost AC Milan the game, as they lost 2-1 to bitter rivals Inter Milan.

Andrea Pirlo had put AC Milan into the lead, and Kaka had a couple of good chances to extend the lead for Milan. However, AC Milan’s good work was undone as Dida made two mistakes, that in the end cost his team three points. Firstly he let Julio Cruz score and later Esteban Cambiasso was given the chance to show the keeper up and scored.

Pirlo scored from a cracking free kick that flew into the net after 18 minutes. Kaka then threatened with some nice movement and great passing but Inter looked more likely to score.

Inter almost got an equaliser when Julio Cruz’s cross was tipped away by Dida into the path of Luis Jimenez whose effort hit the underside of the bar.

On 36 minutes Inter equalised through Julio Cruz. Zlatan found Cambiasso on the edge of the box who found Cruz who smashed the ball into the bottom corner of the goal. Dida looked to be at fault for the goal. There was no questioning his error for the next goal. Paolo Maldini’s poor clearance header was directed into the path of Cambiasso who fired the ball low and hard towards the goal. It looked a comfortable save for Dida, but he went the wrong way and the ball ended up bouncing off his leg and into the back of the net.

Both sides had some late chances to score more including one chance through AC Milan player Kaka, who didn’t have the best of games. Kaka’s volley was saved by Julio Cesar. Inter then played out the last few minutes to win the match and get the three points.

AC Milan will be unhappy at the performance of their keeper Dida and also of performances from quality players such as Kaka and Paolo Maldini.

Real Madrid’s chairman Ramon Calderon has said that he thinks Kaka wouldn’t even get into the first eleven at Real Madrid, which has got the press talking.

Kaka, who was voted as the Fifa World Player of the Year on Monday night, and also has other big awards to his name, has become a rising star since he went to AC Milan. Calderon who promised that he would make Kaka a member of the Real Madrid team before he was voted in as Real Madrid president thinks Kaka would not improve his clubs squad and doesn’t think it would be worthwhile trying to sign Kaka.

Kaka has helped AC Milan win the Champions League, European Super Cup and most recently the Club World Cup. Kaka is also expected to renew his Milan contract until 2012/13.

Brazilian football star Kaka has been awarded the most prestigious football player award available, the Fifa World Player of the Year award.

AC Milan midfielder Kaka fought off the other contenders to the top prize. The other contenders for the award where Cristiano Ronaldo of Manchester United who came second and Leo Messi of Barcelona who finished in third place.

Kaka has had a great year with AC Milan. In the space of a year they have won the Champions League. Kaka himself has also won other personal awards. He has won the Ballon d’Or, FIFPro’s World Player of the Year and the World Soccer Player of the Year award.

Speaking after winning the World Player of the Year award Kaka said he it was a dream come true for him, and a really special night.

Kaka won the award after been voted the best player in the world by national team managers and captains of national teams.

Cristiano Ronaldo had history against him in his bid to be awarded the World Player of the Year. No player playing in the English Premier League has ever won this award before.

Ricardo Izecson dos Santos Leite, commonly known as Kaka was born on April 22nd, 1982 in Brazil. He is a Brazilian soccer player who plays the midfield position for the Brazil national team and the A.C. Milan club.

Supposedly Kaka received his nickname because his little brother, Rodrigo, could not pronounce the word “Ricardo” when they were both younger. So instead, his brother Rodrigo called him “Caca”, which soon became “Kaka“. When Kaka was 18 he suffered a possible paralyzing spinal fracture because of a pool accident, but the strong Kaka was able to fully recover from the event.

Kaka was back in action about a year later when he was put into a football game as a substitute in the Tornero Rio Final. Kaka’s football team was down by one when the coach decided to put him into the game with a very short 14 minutes left. People were very skeptical about this move, but two minutes in Kaka scored an amazing two goal leading his team to a great victory. Kaka has since gained much fame and is known as one of the top players around today.
