Kaka to leave Milan?

Kaka leaving Milan?Kaka acknowledged in an interview that he had thought of quitting AC Milan last season.

As one of the main inspiration behind Milan’s Champions League victory over Liverpool in Athens last May, Kaka admitted he considered making that memorable victory as his last appearance in the famous black and red jersey.

Since that victory, Kaka has gone on to win three individual awards, making him the undisputed best player in the world.

To Kaka, individual awards only spurs him on to greater heights. He feels Milan, as a team, deserve more accolades than himself, as an individual.

Now Kaka wants to stay on with Milan and hope to captain the team one day. He has a contract which keeps him at the San Siro till at least 2011. He revealed he is willing to bide his time in order to get the armband one day.

The attacking midfielder joined AC Milan in 2003 and has won the Serie A, the Champions League and the World Club Cup title. While his future with Milan was in doubt prior to the Champions League final last season, when he had thoughts about quitting the club, Kaka’s commitment to the Milan cause is now more evident than ever with coach Carlo Ancelotti remarking: “The chances are I will leave the club before he does.”
